Meet the Stylists
All of the stylists at Salon Nathaniel are licensed hairdressers with the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health. In addition to their initial training and certification, the Salon emphasizes continuing education, and holds regular workshops on new techniques, products and industry standards.
Nathaniel, Owner, Level 4A Stylist, Redken Master Specialist & Certified Pureologist
Nate purchased the salon from the previous owner, Kelley, in spring 2008 and has worked tirelessly to re-invent the salon as his own. He has taken advanced cutting, coloring, and event styling through Matrix, Redken, Toni and Guy and Aquage. Nate has a degree in graphic communication through Gateway Community College, but found that hair is his true passion. Nate completed his hair education from T.E.A.C.H academy in Guilford, CT in 2005 and started as an Associate Stylist with Kelli's a Salon. During that time Nate was also an educator with Matrix and was seen teaching and doing dress work for many hair fashion shows. Nate wants his clients to know that when they make an appointment with him that they are going to get the best service possible guaranteed! Nate has just completed his training with Neo Extensions and the Keratin Smoothing Complex System. Nate is setting the trend for 2011 by reserving his spot at Redkens 5th Ave School to learn new techniques.
Carla, Level 4 Stylist Stylist & Salon Director & Certified Pureologist
Carla has been with the salon for over a decade and was recently named salon manager. As a master stylist, Carla specializes in color and corrective color services. In her new role as salon director, she will also facilitate the day-to-day tasks associated with the salon's operations.

Karen, Level 4A Stylist & Certified Pureologist
Karen has been a part of our team for the past 21 years. She is a true talent and has taken many classes in advanced cutting and coloring through Matrix, Toni and Guy, and Redken. Karen loves everything about the industry but has the most fun when it comes to advanced foiling techniques. Karen has been a hairstylist for over 30 years and knows that to be a true success education is a key factor. The current trends are always changing and Karen is looking forward to sharing that with her clients. Karen has just completed training in Hair Treats and The Keratin Smoothing Complex. Ive, Level 4 Stylist and Certified Pureologist
Ive has been with Salon Nathaniel for over 10 years and started her education at H.C. Wilcox Technical High School in Meriden, CT. Ive has just finished advanced education with Hair Treats hair extensions, and has taken advanced cutting and coloring through Redken. Ive has many talents but her knowledge of color is second to none. Through exceptional consultations she will give you a look that gets you noticed. She wants her clients to know that she is passionate about hair and wants to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Ive has also just completed her in-depth training in The Keratin Smoothing Complex System. This is an amazing process for those who want to eliminate frizz and cut blow drying time in half. Reanna, Level 2 Stylist
Reanna joined the Creative staff of Salon Nathaniel in December 2009. She is a graduate of H.C. Wilcox Tech School in Meriden, CT and is excited about continuing her education with Redken and Pureology. Reanna has hit the floor running and continues to build toward her goal of level 3 stylist. Reanna is now certified in Hair Treats hair extensions, hair tinsel, and Keratin Smoothing Complex. She has just completed Redken Event Styling and Redken for Men Barbering.  Lauren, Level 1 Stylist & Certified Keratin Complex & Pureologist
Lauren joined the creative team of Salon Nathaniel in 2010. She is a graduate of Brio Academy of Hair in Meriden CT. While attending Brio Academy, Lauren focused on the Colorist Program to advance her color and foil techniques. Lauren is on the road to success with upcoming classes and being certified in Keratin Complex by Capolla, Hair Treats hair extensions and a Pureologist. Laurens true passion is hair whether recreating the currents trends she sees on the runway or cutting hair for locks of love, or Hair Treats hair extensions she loves it all. Lauren would like to invite new and existing guests to sit with her and indulge in the Salon Nathaniel experience!
 Alyssa, Associate 3
Alyssa is the newest addition to the Salon Nathaniel Family. She is a recent gradute of H.C. Wilcox Tech School in Meriden, Ct. She received high makes in her hair dressing classes and went on to take her state boards. Alyssa passed them with flying colors and has begun her 6-9 month traning program at Salon Nathaniel. With the guidence of Nathaniel and the team, Alyssa will recieve hands on training and indepth customer service skills. Alyssa specializes in make up applications, event styling, manicures and pedicures, and Shellac Nail services. The staff at salon Nathaniel welcome Alyssa and we are excited to watch her grow.
